His digital equipment includes both the Leaf Cantare XY back (single or 3-shot) and the Sinar 44 back(1, 4, or 16-shot). These high-end backs both have live video feeds for previewing the set and capture in 48-bit depth, the industry's highest, for superior color fidelity. The two backs offer the flexability to shoot products or people, and are often used in seperate shooting bays when a higher volume of images is desired.
An on-site retouching suite allows for concurrent photoshop work. This setup is a great productivity booster. The color corrections, retouching, CMYK conversions, outlines, and drop shadows, can all occur while the product's in-hand and under the supervision of the client who's overseeing the shoot.
